East Canyon Marina and Resort in Morgan County offers visitors multiple opportunities to experience the outdoors in style. The marina is located about nine miles south of Morgan, near the dam. It boasts a newly remodeled and updated boat ramp and parking area for boaters. There is a new convenience store and gas station for boaters and campers. A newly completed campground that features covered picnic tables and built-in fire pits gives the camper a great view of the lake and mountains and Morgan's famous sunsets. Day-campers also have the picnic areas, marina and convenience store at their disposal.

 The shore near the docks has been revamped to provide a sandy beach and shallow swimming area that is blocked off from the main water for safety. Kids can spend the day swimming and fishing for crawdads near the shore while the grownups tan on the beach.

 Campers can reserve long and short-term campsites for trailers, motorhomes and tents. The hills nearby provide places to hike, with deer and other wildlife nearby.

 East Canyon Resort provides a top-notch time-share community and restaurant. Located about five miles south of the dam, East Canyon Resort is a luxurious 9600-acre haven where members can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, swim in the pools, relax in the hot tubs or saunas, play mini-golf, tennis or sand-volley ball.

 Members can stay in the condos, townhomes or bring their RV's to camp either at the RV park, or in the wilderness areas provided. There are miles of ATV and hiking trails to explore too, and members can access the resort for snowmobiling in winter.
